Mérieux NutriSciences announced that it has been approved by TikTok as a testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) body for its dietary supplement policy.

Over the past year, TikTok Shop’s dietary supplement selling platform has become more stringent and is now similar to the requirements Amazon rolled out in 2024.

TikTok’s compliance requirements include third-party testing and verification documents to ensure products are compliant either from in-house labs or from its own network of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratories.

“Becoming an approved testing, inspection, and certification body for TikTok’s dietary supplement program is a significant milestone not just for us, but for our customers,” said Edgar Grigorian, managing director of dietary supplements for Mérieux NutriSciences. “Brands now have a new choice for partnership, one built on a foundation of customer-centric support and a global reputation for excellence in food safety. We can now seamlessly integrate our extensive expert partners’ services with TikTok’s rigorous compliance standards, unlocking tremendous value for our clients and leveraging our global lab network that is already strategically embedded within their supply chains.”
