Ingredients by Nature Promotes Allie Mello to Lead Sales Strategy

She will help implement the company’s long-term brand improvement initiatives.

Ingredients by Nature (IBN)—supplier of customizable, science-based food ingredients—has promoted Allie Mello to vice president of sales & brand development to help lead the implementation of long-term sales strategy and brand improvement initiatives.

Mello has been working for IBN since 2009 when she started as a business operations manager. Since then, she has continued to accept additional responsibilities within the company helping develop business opportunities and communicating with current and potential customers.

“There is no one more dedicated to the IBN family. Allie has shown since day one that she has a great work ethic and a natural feel for the natural products industry,” said Rob Brewster, president of IBN. “She is a real team player with a proactive attitude and has a keen mind for improving company processes and solving problems that arise. We wouldn’t be experiencing the same degree of success we have been without her devotion and effort.”

In her new role, Mello will oversee the development and management of the IBN sales strategy and team, build customer relations and coordinate business activities, collect and analyze data to help streamline work processes and procedures, and develop ways to build existing brands and introduce new brands while leveraging the science and clinical research to push those ingredients toward success.

“I have been with IBN since the beginning of my career and for the past 12 years the company has grown tremendously,” said Mello. “I’m so excited for the future of the company and that in this new role I have the opportunity to make further impact in this industry through the development of customer relationships and by continuing to help the IBN brand to provide services and products of the highest quality.”
