Immunel Supports Immune Modulation

Immunel from Sterling Technology is a low molecular weight colostrum fraction that can rapidly mobilize and activate cells to support specific immune defense mechanisms, according to two published research papers in the journal Preventive Medicine.
A recent randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study involving healthy volunteers examined acute effects after ingesting a single dose of Immunel. The data demonstrated a rapid increase in phagocytic activity and transitory changes in NK cell trafficking (immune surveillance involved in anti-viral protection) upon oral consumption of Immunel. Parallel in vitro cellular testing also indicated that Immunel has rapid effects on phagocytic activity and NK cell activation. When Immunel was given to mice around the time of bacterial and viral challenges, an accelerated clearance of infection was observed.
According to Sterling Technology, this research provides documentation of the ability of Immunel to rapidly boost cellular immune functions and therefore support a healthy immune system, priming it for resistance support when needed. For further information: www. sterlingtechnology.com
