Designs for Health Launches Akkermansia Pro GLP-1 Probiotic

Designs for Health announced the launch of Akkermansia Pro GLP-1 Probiotic, a once-daily probiotic and postbiotic formula that combines live Akkermansia muciniphila with BPL1, a postbiotic manufactured by ADM, to support the gut-metabolic connection, the body’s natural GLP-1 production, and healthy weight management.

Specific keystone bacterial strains are shown to be foundational to the gut microbiome, and appear to play a role in appetite regulation, blood sugar metabolism, gut barrier integrity, and overall metabolic resilience.
