Momentous has launched a new creatine supplement, Singature Spec Creatine, which is a major upgrade of its best-selling creatine supplement. The new formula sets a new bar for purity and mixability.

“Creatine is a proven daily essential for both body and brain, and when a supplement becomes part of your everyday routine, quality isn’t optional,” said Jeff Byers, CEO and co-founder. “While the industry chased trends and ineffective formats, we focused on improving the creatine itself. We already had a market-leading product, but Momentous Signature Spec Creatine sets a whole new benchmark. This is the Momentous standard in action: our relentless commitment to science, rigorous testing, and raising the bar, because anyone investing in their health deserves to know they are getting real results.”

The new supplement has ten-times stricter purity controls, the company reported, and is also tested for PFAs and microplastics contamination. The company imposes two-to-five-times tighter limits for lead, mercury, and cadmium “than the industry’s premium standard.” The new supplement’s ultrafine powder format facilitates easier dissolution and delivery.

Signature Spec Creatine is one of the only products of its kind to be manufactured in a pharmaceutical facility and purified through a reverse osmosis water filtration process rather than the chemical washing used in most products. The result is fewer residual impurities and a cleaner final product.

Six-Stage Independent Testing Protocol

Signature Spec Creatine is tested via a six-stage panel of independent third-party labs at various steps along the supply chain. Labs including Eurofins, Light Labs, and SuppCo’s blind-purchase TESTED program are involved, screening for dozens of markers including microplastics, heavy metals, and forever chemicals, facilitating an NSF Certified for Sport designation.

“Our commitment to the Momentous standard doesn’t always make things easy, but we believe it is the right thing to do for the consumer,” said Byers. “To put that into perspective, even when we work with the highest-quality suppliers and apply some of the industry’s most rigorous testing protocols, products can still fail third-party testing. When they do, they never reach our customers. We start over. We’ve always chosen the right path over the easy one. Creating Signature Spec creatine wasn’t a decision we were obligated to make, it was the only decision consistent with the Momentous standard.”

“The supplement industry has a transparency problem. Brands test their own products, publish the results, and ask consumers to trust them. Tested by SuppCo exists to verify those claims independently, by anonymously purchasing products directly from brand websites the same way a customer would,” said Nick Michlewicz, co-founder of SuppCo. “Momentous Creatine has been verified Tested by SuppCo, reflecting Momentous’ commitment to transparency and confidence in its manufacturing standards.”

The new supplement will be available in unflavored, watermelon, and lemon powder varieties, as well as in lemon lime, mango, and strawberry chew formats.
