CocoaVia Receives Clean Label Project Purity Award

Mars Food & Nutrition announced that its CocoaVia brand’s portfolio of cocoa flavanol dietary supplements received the Clean Label Project Purity Award.

The Purity award recognizes products that go above and beyond standard labeling and safety compliance standards. The award is granted to products that have undergone rigorous third-party lab testing for environmental and industrial contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticide residues, and plasticizers. Awards are limited to products that have undergone analysis by the Clean Label Project.

CocoaVia contains 500-750 mg of cocoa flavanols per serving, and was used in the landmark COSMOS trial.

The company was also named a Top Pick by ConsumerLab for high flavanol cocoa supplements.

CocoaVia will update its product packaging, and run a social media campaign on Instagram and Facebook to celebrate receiving the Clean Label Project Award.
