Omega-3 supplier GC Rieber VivoMega launched VivoMega 90% TG Premium fish oil at Vitafoods Europe. The new fish oil delivers 520 mg of EPA and 310 mg of DHA per gram, for a total omega-3 content of 900 mg per gram.

The new maximal potency allows supplement brands to formulate more efficiently, reduce capsule size, and improve formulation flexibility, according to the company.

“We see a demand from supplement brands that want to deliver higher potency products without compromising user experience,” said Ståle Søfting, chief commercial officer. “With VivoMega 90% TG Premium fish oil, produced in natural triglyceride (TG) form for optimal bioavailability and absorption, we enable a more potent and pure omega-3 in less space, helping brands achieve high efficacy while maintaining excellent sensory profiles and smaller, easier-to-swallow capsules.”

The new ingredient is part of the company’s premium portfolio and meets quality and purity standards such as the oxidation parameters and environmental specifications set by the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) and Nutrasource’s International Fish Oil Standards (IFOS).

VivoMega 90% TG Premium fish oil is designed for softgels, capsules, and functional formats. It is manufactured at facilities aligned with the EU Green Deal initiatives and the UN Global Compact guidelines. GC Rieber VivoMega is also SEDEX certified.
