President, Rodman J. Zilenziger, Jr.
Rodman J. Zilenziger Jr. — President of Rodman Media since 1993. Zilenziger, son of the Company’s founder, joined Rodman Media as an Advertising Representative in 1984. In 1987 he was named International Sales Manager. Zilenziger was named President in 1993. As President of the Company, he has launched eight titles, created more than a dozen websites, and added several conferences and tradeshows to the Rodman roster of products. Under his leadership, Rodman Media has expanded its reach to all corners of the globe through a variety of mediums. He holds a BA in English and Economics from Denison University.
Executive Vice President / Publisher, Matthew J. Montgomery  
Matthew Montgomery – Executive Vice President of Rodman Media since 2000. In addition to his role as EVP, he is also Publisher of Nutraceuticals World magazine. Montgomery joined Rodman Media in 1978 as an Advertising Representative, was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 1986, Publisher of Happi magazine in 1992 and then Group Publisher in 1996. He has been involved in all the new magazine launches and website launches at Rodman Media since 1995. He holds a BA Economics from Washington & Lee University.
Vice President / Editorial Director, Tom Branna
Tom Branna is VP/Editorial Director for Rodman Media. He has been with Rodman for more than 20 years, serving in a variety of capacities including editor of Happi. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University.
Editor, Sean Moloughney

Sean Moloughney is the editor of Nutraceuticals World magazine, which covers the dietary supplement, functional food and nutritional beverage industries. He has worked with Rodman Media since 2008, serving as Associate Editor of Nutraceuticals World for 4 years. He took over as Editor in October 2012. He earned his BA in English: Communication from UMBC in 2005.

Associate Editor, Lisa Olivo
Lisa Olivo is the associate editor of Nutraceuticals World magazine. Her writing focuses on new products, supplier research, leading trends and industry news. Prior to her position with Nutraceuticals World, Lisa worked in production management on several animated feature films and children’s television shows. She earned her B.A. in English from Fordham University in New York in 2006.

Contributing Editor, Joanna Cosgrove
Joanna Cosgrove has been writing for Nutraceuticals World since 2005. She has written on a range of topics impacting the dietary supplement industry, and has extensive experience with other trade publications spanning pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, CPG formulations, and packaging machinery and technology. She has been writing about the dietary supplement industry since 1998, having previously served as managing editor of Nutritional Outlook magazine. She earned her B.A. in English from Widener University in Chester, PA, in 1996.

Steve Lipscomb joined Rodman Media in the fall of 1998 as an Advertising Representative to work on the launch of Nutraceuticals World. In November 2002 he was promoted to Advertising Manager and then Associate Publisher in January 2006. He has been involved in launching several other Rodman titles. Prior to joining Rodman, Steve held positions in Sales and Marketing with several manufacturers and advertising sales positions with Phoenix Media/Communications in Boston and McGraw-Hill in San Francisco. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Advertising Representative, Nicholas Wegman
Nick Wegman joined Rodman Publishing in 2012 as an Advertising Representative for Nutraceuticals World and Happi magazines. His goal is to build and expand the base of advertising accounts for both magazines (in print and online). Formerly in sales with Pitney Bowes, Nick brings a consultative-sales approach to the job, which positions him as a problem solver and creative advertising resource to his clients. He is a “foodie” at heart and has launched his own BBQ products company, both of which pair naturally with his other avid hobby of home brewing. Nick has a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Business Administration from Villanova University.

Stephen Dentali, PhD: "Botanical Basics"
Steven Dentali, PhD, chief science officer of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA), Silver Spring, MD, studied herbal medicine in the Pacific Northwest, finding a disconnect between the herbal and academic communities. He subsequently earned his doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Natural Products Chem­istry from the University of Arizona, Tucson. An American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education Fellow, Dr. Dentali is recognized as a foremost expert in the natural products industry. He is a member of the United States Pharmaco­poeia 2010-2015 Convention, editorial board chair of AOAC International, and is an advisory board member of the American Botanical Council and the Ameri­can Herbal Pharmacopeia. Doug Kalman: “The Research Process”
Douglas Kalman, MS, RD, FACN, is director of clinical nutrition at Miami Research Associates (MRA), Miami, FL, in the Nutrition and Endocrinology Division. MRA is a clinical service organization involved for over 10 years in phase II through post market trials for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. Steve Allen is retired from Nestlé where he spent 30 years in various countries and positions in sales, marketing and general management. For the last six years he worked in Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on corporate venture investing. Nestlé has over $1 billion of committed capital in various funds and direct investments. Mr. Allen is now a member of the Advisory Board of Vitamin Angels a non-profit working to eliminate vitamin A deficiency in children and pregnant women. He’s a member of the Board of the US Foundation for the University of Leeds, where he obtained an undergraduate degree and is Chairman of the Screening Committee of Nutrition Capital Network.
Nancy Childs, PhD
Nancy Childs, PhD, joined the Department of Food Marketing at St. Joseph’s University in 1991. Prior to her academic appointment she spent 15 years in the food industry in positions with companies such as General Mills, Quaker Oats and Campbell Soup Company. Dr. Childs is also Founding Director of the Nutraceutical Institute partnership between St. Joseph’s University’s Center for Food Marketing and Rutgers University.

Loren D. Israelsen
Loren Israelsen, a dietary supplement industry veteran of 25 years, began his natural products life as general counsel of Nature’s Way Products, later serving as its president. He founded the Utah Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) in 1991 to focus the efforts of the Utah dietary supplement industry on FDA’s regulation of supplements. Amazingly, this led to passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) in 1994. Today, as President of LDI Group, Inc., he advises companies on all aspects of the dietary supplement, nutraceuticals and functional food regulatory and commercial world. He writes and lectures a lot. Occasionally people listen to him. In his spare time, he wishes he had more spare time.
Ellen Schutt
Ellen Schutt is the communications director for the Global Organization of EPA & DHA Omega-3. She is responsible for communicating with the global GOED membership base as well as industry and consumers about the latest developments and ongoing benefits of omega 3 fatty acids. She is the founding editor of Nutraceuticals World, which she ran from its inception in 1998 through 2002. She also has experience in the raw materials sector as VP-marketing and brand strategy at RFI Ingredients, a manufacturer of natural, certified organic ingredients.
Sharrann Simmons
Sharrann Simmons has more than 20 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and is currently the Director of Product Marketing for Silliker, Inc., a Merieux NutriSciences Company. Most recently, Ms. Simmons was Marketing Director of Cognis Nutrition & Health (now a part of BASF), a global specialty chemical company. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and General Manager of the US subsidiary of Colloides Naturels International, the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of acacia gum. Ms. Simmons also has international experience as the Director of Food Marketing for the European region of FMC, based in Brussels, Belgium. She holds a BS and MS degrees in Food Science from Purdue University, and has also attended the Executive MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Graduate Management.
Scott Steinford
Scott Steinford is president of Doctor's Best, Inc., a finished goods provider staunchly advocating quality, transparency, communication and corporate responsibility. Scott joined the company as president in 2012 with the mission of building upon the successful enterprise that has come to represent "Science Based Nutrition" and the importance of this commitment to the dietary supplement industry. Scott has a Pre-Law Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s of Science Degree in Law from Champlain College. Rhonda S. Witwer
Rhonda S. Witwer is Business Development Manager of Nutrition for National Starch Food Innovation in Bridgewater, NJ. She develops business opportunities, creates marketing messages, communicates health information and coordinates regulatory issues for Hi-maize and NOVELOSE resistant starches, health-promoting carbohydrates that are supported by more than 120 published studies. Ms. Witwer has more than a decade of experience in marketing bioactive ingredients and has written numerous articles and expert market reports on market opportunities for bioactive ingredients. A graduate of Butler University with a BS in Chemistry, she received her MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
