Taura Natural Ingredients’ factories in Belgium and New Zealand have been awarded "Grade A" status under the BRC certification program. Auditors gave Taura top marks at both sites under the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety following a detailed inspection and evaluation of the two facilities, which produce fruit pieces, pastes and flakes for the global market using Taura’s unique Ultra Rapid Concentration (URC) technology. The comprehensive inspection process examined all of Taura’s procedures, confirming that Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP principles were being followed at all times. The certification will be valid throughout 2013, offering Taura’s customers complete reassurance that its URCfruit ingredients are manufactured to the highest possible standards of food safety.
