Inflammopharmacology Journal has published a new study on freeze-dried mussel powder produced by Aroma New Zealand. According to company director Ben Winters, this study showed that its green lipped mussel powder significantly eased knee joint pain by 59% in subjects.
“This will provide us with increased global sales as a published study helps support customers marketing a product,” said Mr. Winters. “Green lipped mussel extract can now be positioned as a natural joint relief alternative to prescription drugs, which can cause side effects such as stomach cramps and pain.”
“We are so encouraged by the study being published that we are now looking to carry out larger clinical trials with placebo, which will carry more weight when pitching to pharmaceutical companies,’’ Mr. Winters added. For further information: www.aromanz.com
