A recently clinical study published in Nutrition Research showed Pantesin, a highly absorbable and biologically active form of vitamin B5 from Kyowa Hakko, may significantly lower LDL cholesterol levels.

The triple-blind, placebo/diet controlled trial included participants with low to moderate risk of cardiovascular disease. After 16 weeks, the group taking Pantesin saw significant drops in LDL levels in relation to the placebo group. Results are especially noteworthy, as prior studies have shown that each 1 mg/DL reduction in LDL cholesterol lowers cardiovascular disease risk by 1%. For further information: www.kyowa-usa.com
