Stepan Company, Maywood, NJ, has acquired the Clarinol, Marinol and PinnoThin product lines from Netherlands-based Lipid Nutrition B.V., formerly a part of IOI Loders Croklaan Group. The acquired product lines will be integrated into Stepan’s Food and Health Specialties business, which will be renamed Stepan Lipid Nutrition. The acquired products combined with Stepan’s NEOBEE Medium Chain Triglycerides provides a patented portfolio of nutritional oils with a greater offering to customers in the global food, supplement, nutrition and pharmaceutical industries. Stepan’s Maywood, NJ, site will continue to operate the central management of the business with a new Stepan Lipid Nutrition office located near Amsterdam.
