Decas Botanical Synergies, Carver, MA, has obtained approval from the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) for use of a health claim supporting urinary health on its PACran, proanthocyanidin (PAC) standardized cranberry powder. The approval process for PACran took nearly two years to complete and was obtained after the company and its Korean partner, Monature, submitted a complete clinical dossier that included required safety data.
