The Hain Celestial Group, Melville, NY, has launched three new non-dairy beverages under its Dream brand: Oat Dream, Hemp Dream and its first holiday-themed beverage, Rice Dream Rice Nog. Oat dream is a “good source of fiber” and is fortified with vitamins A, B12, D and E and calcium. Hemp Dream, derived from the hemp seed, contains high quality proteins and amino acids, omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids, as well as magnesium, iron, manganese and vitamins A, B12 and D and calcium. Lactose and dairy-free, Rice Dream Rice Nog is one of the first rice-based Nog beverages.
In other developments, the company has also introduced the following products under its Garden of Eatin’ platform: Organic Pretz-O’s with Golden Flaxseed, Baked Whole Grain Pita Chips with Flaxseed and Yellow Corn Tortilla Strips. Pretz-O’s are made with organic wheat flour and each 110-calorie serving contains 200 mg of omega 3s; Baked Pita Chips contain 180 micrograms of omega 3s and 8 grams of whole grains per serving; and Yellow Corn Tortilla Strips contain organic corn and sea salt.
