HealthFocus International, St. Petersburg, FL, has released its 2007 “Trend Report,” which discusses where consumers are headed in their behavior toward their health and diet. It also explores what nutritional issues will be important in the present and future. According to the report, shoppers are more likely to be extremely or very concerned about diabetes than they have been in the past, with 43% saying this in 2006 compared to 36% in 1996…Surprisingly, however, fewer shoppers are worried about being overweight—43% said they were extremely/very concerned about this in 1996 compared with only 36% in 2006.
