Enzymotec has launched SharpPS, a brain nutrition formula that contains 60% phosphatidylserine (PS) in a powdered, fat-free formulation for dietary supplements and functional food formulations. Enzymotec’s PS product line includes different grades, ranging from 20%-60% in liquid and powdered forms.

In other news, the company has introduced MultOil, a family of multi-functional oils, based on natural oils and enriched with phytosterols and DAG intended to synergistically reduce the risk for coronary heart disease. The oils represent a combination of 25% phytosterol-ester (PS-E) and 15% diglycerides (DAG). MultOil is produced from a patented process called AMIET®, which was developed by Enzymotec and involves an enzyme modification process. MultOil could be used either as a substitute to cooking oil or as an ingredient in food formulations such as spreads or salad dressings.
