April 1, 2003

Pilot Therapeutics, Charleston, SC, will test market Airozin™, its over-the-counter (OTC) medical food product for the dietary management of asthma. Airozin will be available in supermarkets with pharmacies, drug stores and mass merchandise outlets in targeted markets in the Carolinas. The retail test will be coordinated by ACNielsen Market Decisions, which will distribute the product, collect and report weekly sales data and provide a year-one national volume forecast. Following the estimated six month test period, the company will analyze the data collected to refine its strategy for a national launch.
