DSEA Accepting Nominations
The Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA) is now accepting nominations for additions to its scientific advisory board (SAB). Candidates for the SAB are evaluated on the following criteria: established credentials—M.D., Ph.D., or related degree—in areas of medicine, nutrition, botany, pharmacology and agricultural sciences; affiliation with a leading university, foundation, research institute or government agency (former government official); reputation as a respected author; expertise on issues critical to advancing supplementation such as regulation, quality/safety and the science supporting the health benefits; strong media skills and independence (preferably not linked to a specific supplement company).
