A new media study among 900 physicians revealed that the majority of physicians (71%) reported that they are not in favor of the Obama administration’s plans for healthcare reform.
The study was conducted by HCD Research, Flemington, NJ, and the Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion (MCIPO) using the MediaCurves.com website during March 18-19, to obtain physicians’ perceptions of current healthcare reform in the U.S.
The majority of physicians (63%) indicated that if they had the opportunity to choose their career today, they would be less likely to enter the medical field due to their knowledge of healthcare reform.
