Stand C80

IFF Pharma Solutions and IFF Health will showcase their combined capabilities in botanicals, functional food ingredients, and plant-based applications for the dietary supplements and health products market.

At booth C80, attendees can speak with experts to identify the right ingredients, brainstorm delivery formats, and provide sustainable solutions to address potential formulation and manufacturing challenges.

The company will also lead a presentation, “New Heights in Women’s Health: What’s on the horizon for next probiotic solutions for feminine support,” at the Probiotics Theater on May 11 at 3:00 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to showcase our unmatched breadth of technologies and expertise, which allow us to provide supplement manufacturers with the answers they need to develop high-quality products that drive value for their brand,” said Michael Baumann, global strategic marketing manager for dietary supplements, IFF, Pharma Solutions. “Not only can we provide a supply of high-quality products, we also partner closely with our customers from product ideation to formulation – whether it’s helping them to transit to plant-based ingredients or helping to refine products to meet e-commerce demands.”

IFF will showcase a range of women’s health probiotic concepts, combining HOWARU probiotics with scientifically-studied botanicals and other ingredients, formulated for a variety of women’s life stages.

The company will also showcase sustainable, plant-based supplement concepts, including the ingredients GRINDSTED Pectin PRM and SeaGel. The first ingredient is produced from a sustainable source of citrus peel by-products, and is designed as a gelatin alternative for plant-based gummies. The latter ingredient is a plant-based softgel technology that is versatile for developing vegan, heat-stable softgel capsules.

The company will also showcase its capabilities to taste-mask bitter botanicals without the use of sugar, including bitter and chalky flavors.

IFF will also discuss two of its ingredients which recently achieved Upcycled Certified status. The first is Go-Less, a botanical formulation designed to ameliorate frequent urination in men and women, and the second is Soylife, an ingredient with a high natural level of isoflavone which is formulated to help relieve menopausal symptoms and support cardiovascular health.

Other botanicals the company will feature include FenuLife, a natural soluble fiber that helps to reduce digestive issues related to acid reflux, and Neuravena, a green oat extract that is formulated for mood support.

“With 37 percent of probiotic consumers in Europe searching to improve overall wellness as opposed to alleviating a specific symptom, brand owners can differentiate in the marketplace with products that are innovative, taste great and formulated with unique ingredient combinations with a sustainability positioning,” said Vanessa Azevedo, regional marketing lead for dietary supplements, IFF Health. “Our comprehensive portfolio of probiotics, botanicals and health ingredients along with our industry-leading capabilities and decades of technical expertise help them develop innovative, efficacious products that satisfy the modern consumer preferences.”
