SEPPIC Launches SEPIBLISS

05.21.18

Company debuted the first nutricosmetic ingredient specific to reactive skin.

At Vitafoods Europe 2018, SEPPIC launched SEPIBLISS, which the company claimed to be the first nutricosmetic active ingredient dedicated to reactive and sensitive skin.

Today 50% of the population is concerned with sensitive skin, according to SEPPIC. The company said the phenomenon is global and growing due to multiple factors such as pollution, weather conditions, emotional stress, and food habits. SEPIBLISS offers support by aiming to reduce issues associated with reactive and sensitive skin (such as irritation and redness) with oral supplementation.

SEPIBLISS meets consumer demand for natural solutions, traceability, and local sourcing. Made without additives, SEPIBLISS is a 100% virgin coriander seed oil, extracted without solvents and manufactured locally in the South West of France. SEPIBLISS is also the first nutraceutical active ingredient with dedicated studies on the different mechanisms involved in skin reactivity, the company claimed. The ingredient’s skin soothing activity has been demonstrated with an in vitro model.

Claire Notin, marketing manager, Nutrition with SEPPIC commented: “We are proud to propose the first nutraceutical active ingredient designed specifically for sensitive skin. This launch confirms the pioneering role of SEPPIC in nutricosmetics, supported by our expertise in skin biology and our knowledge of the cosmetic market.”
