Nutrition 21, LLC, Purchase, NY, a developer and marketer of nutritional ingredients, has hired William “Skip” Hammock as manager of key accounts. Additionally, Todd Spear, the team’s executive director of sales, has been promoted to vice president of sales.
Mr. Hammock brings over 20 years of experience in the nutritional ingredient industry, and joins Nutrition 21 after having served as the director of technical affairs at Pharmachem Laboratories and Proprietary Nutritionals Inc. During his tenure at Pharmachem/PNI, Mr. Hammock oversaw the company’s diverse branded ingredients division. Most recently, Mr. Hammock served as the president of Hammock Marketing, overseeing the development of finished products.
Separately, Mr. Spear has served as a member of the Nutrition 21 team since January 2013 and has been instrumental in the strategy and launch of both Nitrosigine and Velositol.
