The Food and Drug Administration is extending the comment period for the revised draft guidance on new dietary ingredient notifications by 60 days, until Dec. 12, 2016.
The guidance appeared in the Federal Register on Aug. 12, 2016 (81 FR 53486). The agency said it is extending the comment period in response to public requests and to allow stakeholders additional time to submit comments.
Interested parties can submit electronic or written comments by Dec. 12, 2016.
