Amber Bennett has joined the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) in a newly created position as director of membership development.
In her new role, Ms. Bennett will primarily be responsible for establishing and implementing strategies that maintain and expand AHPA membership, creating and implementing member recruitment and retention strategies and coordinating sponsorship and advertising initiatives to expand AHPA's size and influence and promote AHPA's participation in herbal industry activities relevant to membership.
Ms. Bennett previously worked at VIRGO Publishing (INFORMA) for 12 years, most recently as associate publisher of Natural Products INSIDER and Food Product Design, where she was a top revenue generator and managed many high-level, key accounts that resulted in double-digit growth. She brings nine years of natural products industry sales experience to AHPA.
