National Enzyme Company has added stick pack packaging to its production capabilities.
Ahead of schedule, NEC said it began fulfilling stick pack orders at the end of January.
With an increasing number of consumers looking for quick and convenient ways to supplement their diets, stick packs are surging in popularity. By adding the stick pack capability, NEC has opened the door for its customers to capitalize on this trend while taking their business from concept to finished product all under one roof.
"NEC is committed to meeting our customers' needs, and this added piece of equipment provides an additional option for our customers to promote their finished goods," says Charlie Amidon, president and chief operating officer.
The Viking Masek stick pack equipment joins traditional bottling and convenience packaging already offered at NEC.
Additionally, products manufactured at NEC can also be packaged in square or rectangular bottles. Because of the design, these bottles are often easier to store, ship and display.
Furthermore, NEC said it can design and apply labels in-house to these square and rectangular bottles so the customer receives a product that is ready for the shelves.
