Bruna Seals LLC, Miami, FL, has plans to initiate a major site expansion, building a new headquarters that will add capacity and capability to its cap and closure sealing business. This 62,000 square foot facility will allow Bruna Seals to expand their ability to serve its core sealing products under the ProTecSeal brand, as well as allow for rapid production development on the recently launched LuxeSeal and SniffSeal product lines. These patent pending technologies take the normal functionality of a cap seal product and turn it into a brand enhancer—offering customers unique features such as sensory interaction and a variety of safety and security benefits, according to the company.
Juan Bruna, president of Bruna Seals, said "Most companies have never viewed the seal as an integral component to packaging, however with this technology we now offer a significant media for information transfer coupled with an excellent tool for deterring counterfeiting and allowing the addition of tamper evident features. In these two new offerings we take a standard seal product and truly offer a brand owner some very unique product features. We see these technologies adding great potential for growth in target markets such as cosmetics, personal and home care, nutraceuticals, as well as in food and beverage products where brand protection and marketing will surely be enhanced."
Ms. Bruna added that the company’s multimillion dollar investment in this state of art facility will allow business expansion in their core products, adding new lining capability, as well as a location to protect the proprietary technology that is required to continue to deliver seal innovation to the packaging industry.
Bruna Seals expects production to commence at the new location during the third quarter 2014.
