The Jamba At-Home smoothie line from Inventure Foods, Inc., Pheonix, AZ, has added two new varieties to its dairy-free, gluten-free fruit and veggie blends. The new flavors Blue Fusionand Red Fusion feature vitamin-rich vegetables combined with naturally sweet fruit.
The smoothie kits contain frozen fruit and vegetable blocks that, when blended with one cup of apple juice, make two, eight-ounce servings.
Blue Fusion combines blueberry, banana, apple, blackberry, carrot, broccoli and spinach ingredients, while Red Fusion features a blend of red raspberry, strawberry, dark sweet cherry, purple carrot and sweet potato ingredients.
Both dairy-free smoothie blends provide a full serving of fruit with 130 calories (or less) per eight-ounce glass. Each serving also provides 100% of the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) of vitamin C, 40% of vitamin A and 25% of vitamins D, E, K, B1 and B6.
