Medical Marijuana Inc., San Diego, CA, a leading hemp industry innovator, has announced that its portfolio company, Red Dice Holdings, LLC brand Dixie Elixirs and Edibles, is launching Dixie X Synergy, its first hybrid THC/CBD extract line of health and wellness products.
“Dixie X Synergy combines the benefits of THC and CBD into a product line that is truly greater than the sum of its parts,” said Tripp Keber, managing partner of Dixie Elixirs and Edibles. “Dixie X takes advantage of CBD's natural ability to mitigate certain effects of THC while accentuating THC's beneficial properties.”
CBD, or cannabidiol, and THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, are cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. THC, while beneficial, is also the plant constituent commonly associated with marijuana's euphoric attributes. Cannabidiol is non-intoxicating and used more as a strong anxiety and stress reliever.
“Independent testing has shown that CBD/THC combinations have been found to increase test respondents' alertness levels while helping them manage their appetite,” said Tamar Wise, science director of Dixie Elixirs and Edibles. “Participants reported many pleasurable, relaxing feelings as well.”
The Dixie X Synergy 1:1 ratio of CBD and THC offers many benefits as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic solution. It can be used to treat chronic pain, reduce neurotoxicity and assist with neuropathic conditions. Ideal for daytime use, this new and improved formula also provides increased efficiency, duration and maximum medicinal effect.
“We identified a gap in the medical marijuana industry,” said Mr. Keber.
“And Dixie X Synergy fills that gap for people looking for pain relief.”
Initially, the company will offer four different Dixie X Synergy products to consumers: 25mg Pain Relief Capsules, a 50mg Pain Relief Salve, and 100mg and 500mg Dew Drop Tinctures. Sales will begin in over 500 dispensaries in Colorado immediately, then expand to California, Arizona and Washington as the company's licensing agreements permit.
