Pines International, Lawrence, KS, has partnered with Avatar, Kailua-Kona, HI, a sales and marketing company with more than 30 years experience in the natural products industry, to lead its national sales efforts as it plans to expand it’s product line.

Pines International began in 1976 when Ron Siebold and Steve Malone realized that wheat grass had the potential to provide balanced nutrition for millions of people and founded the first green foods company in the U.S. Today Pines Wheat and Barley Grass tablets and powders are found in over 7,000 health food stores nationwide, and exported to more than 20 foreign countries.
