Members of the International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplements Associations (IADSA) came together in Indonesia in April to discuss regulatory developments across the globe at the organization’s annual general meeting in Jakarta. The meeting addressed opportunities related to the creation of the ASEAN single market in health supplements; global regulatory trends and key national, regional and global developments; and learning from best practice.
“The Southeast Asian nations of ASEAN are close to completing the largest single regulatory framework in the world, impacting more than 600 million people,” said Peter Zambetti, chairman of IADSA. “This is of global significance.”
IADSA is an international association regarding the globalization of food supplement markets. It aims to build an international platform for debate and a sound legislative and political environment for the development of the food supplement sector worldwide.
