Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals, South San Francisco, CA, a microalgae-derived food ingredients company, has reached an exclusive European commercial agency agreement for its food products with global food ingredient parent company, Roquette. This agreement will start with the commercialization of Whole Algalin Flour in the 27 Members Countries of the European Union. Whole Algalin Flour is a healthy lipid alternative that can improve nutritional profiles in a multitude of applications, such as bakery, beverages or frozen desserts. Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals is a joint venture between California-based Solazyme, Inc. and France-based Roquette Frères.
