The Dole Nutrition Institute (DNI), a division of Dole Food Company, Inc., Westlake Village, CA, has released its first food product, Dole Portobello Mushroom Powder, an all-natural, plant-based source of vitamin D. The product is ideal for a variety of diets including vegetarian and vegan. It can be applied to soups, stews, casseroles and side dishes. The limited-supply vitamin D mushroom powder will be available to consumers in both 2-oz. and 3.5-oz. bottles.
