Campbell Soup Company, Camden, NJ, has appointed Dr. Debra DeMuth vice president, Global Nutrition. She succeeds Dr. Chor-San Khoo, who is taking a new role at Campbell as senior research fellow for external scientific affairs. She will be responsible for leading Campbell's global nutrition organization, working closely with the company's business units and nutrition groups within R&D to develop wellness strategies. She will provide expert nutritional science leadership to Campbell and also will develop and coordinate regional nutritional initiatives, including research programs, clinical trials and science-based claims development. Dr. DeMuth previously served as director, Global Nutrition at McDonald's Corporation.
