A recently published book by Elsevier/Academic Press entitled “Nutraceutical and Functional Food Regulations in the United States and Around the World” provides regulatory executives, marketers and functional food formulators an overview and guide to regulations around the world for developing and marketing functional foods. Debasis Bagchi, PhD, InterHealth Nutraceuticals’ senior vice president of research and development edited the book, which contains seven parts that cover regulatory hurdles and manufacturing compliance issues, among other topics.
