Red Bull Receives NSF Certification
NSF International, Ann Arbor, MI, has announced that Red Bull, Santa Monica, CA, is the first company to successfully complete all requirements of the NSF Athletic Banned Substances Certification Program—NSF Certified for Sport—establishing a new standard in quality for diet-ary supplements and nutritional products. To obtain certification, Red Bull Energy Drink and Red Bull Sugar Free were subjected to a formulation, label and toxicology review, facility inspection, and laboratory analyses for label contents and bann-ed substances. For meeting these conditions, Red Bull Energy Drinks will bear the NSF Certified for Sport Mark on their label to show athletes, coaches and consumers that it has met NSF’s criteria.
