Neptune, Bristol Meyers Initiate Joint Research
Montreal, Canada-based Neptune Technologies & Bioresources recently finalized the formation of an R&D collaboration with Bristol-Myers Squibb, New York, NY. This agreement fortifies Neptune’s applied research endeavors in cardiovascular disease. The Physician Initiated Research Committee of Bristol Myers Squibb Medical Imaging, after having reviewed the Neptune research proposal entitled, “The Effect of Krill Oil on the Clinical Course of Cardiovascular Disease,” has decided to grant the use of Neptune Cardiolite® for cardiovascular research and provide research centers enrolled in the above study the required Cardiolite doses for the completion of the trial. The agreement stipulates that Neptune will cite Bristol-Myers Squibb for its support in all study references and provide biannual study progress reports.
