Califia Farms has introduced a line of dairy-free Yogurt Drinks made with its own Califia Culture Blend of probiotics. This distinct trio of 10 billion live, active probiotic CFUs is powered by BB-12, well known for its efficacy in digestive and immune health. Califia Farms said it is the first to batch ferment the BB-12 strain in a non-dairy yogurt. The cultures grow as part of the almond and coconut base, delivering probiotics as part of the whole food, versus being fortified and added at the end of fermentation.
The Yogurt Drinks are available in four dairy-free varieties—Strawberry, Super Berry, Mango and Unsweetened Plain—which are lower in sugar and flavored from real fruit.
"Increasingly, consumers are realizing the importance of probiotics because of their enormous digestive and immune health benefits," said Greg Steltenpohl, CEO, Califia Farms. "And until now, there hasn't been a non-dairy yogurt that delivers the delicious taste and creamy texture people want. At Califia, we've set the gold standard for nut milks and creamers and were able to create an almond and coconut-based Yogurt Drink that delivers 10 billion live, active probiotics that are truly great tasting."
Bear Brands, LLC, producer of Bear Squeeze meal shake, recently broke the previous record for the highest amount of money raised on the first day of an Indiegogo food campaign, garnering over $65,000 in funding from more than 250 backers through the crowdfunding platform.

The performance-driven meal shake is available in Original (Vanilla Chai) and Chocolate flavors, each with only 5 net carbs. Once mixed with a base beverage of choice, each Bear Squeeze shake has a greater nutrient variety than a kale salad, according to the brand, with more protein than 3 eggs, and more probiotics than 4 bottles of kombucha.
"Bear Squeeze is designed to help aid in reducing body fat through its low net carb content, enhancing work productivity because of its convenience of replacing nutrient contents of a meal, and gut health from all the prebiotics and probiotics in the blend," explained Max Baumann founder of Bear Brands.
