To earn the certification, a facility must satisfy the stringent requirements for the manufacture of products that meet the strict Islamic guidelines dealing with hygiene, dietary regulation, raw material processing and ingredient packaging. “Along with the Star-K kosher certification, this allows Deerland’s customers to ensure their products are acceptable to consumers with religious dietary restrictions,” said Hope Hanley, Deerland Enzymes’ vice president of quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
Deerland Enzymes, Inc. specializes in customized enzyme-based formulations, collaborating with customers to develop innovative and often proprietary solutions.
