Netherlands-based companyCorbion has made appointments within several leadership roles at the company in order to support growth in key markets.
David Meggs has been named vice president, meat and culinary market unit, and will oversee sales and business development within the segment. Mr. Meggs has been with the organization for 10 years, most recently as director of business development, food, for Corbion (formerly Purac).
Within the company’s food market unit, Thomas Douglass has been hired as category director, having previously joined Corbion earlier this year as fortification director. In this new role, Mr. Douglass will be responsible for supporting sales through the development and execution of category growth strategies for the food market unit.
Additionally, Jim Anderson has been named national sales manager, industrial solutions. Mr. Anderson has been with the organization for five years, most recently as national sales manager, Trancendim Solutions, for Corbion (formerly Caravan Ingredients).
