AIDP, Inc., City Of Industry, CA, the distributors of Magtein magnesium L-threonate, has been awarded a patent for Magtein’s magnesium compositions and its uses formetabolic disorders(Patent 8,163,301). The patent, titled “Magnesium compositions and uses thereof for metabolic disorders” is the one of seven ongoing patent applications including international rights awarded. This patent protects Magtein’s magnesium compositions and the use of magnesium-containing food, nutritional supplements and drugs to consumers in need for supplementing a magnesium-containing compound in an amount that is effective to ameliorate said effect of the metabolic disorder, wherein the magnesium-containing compound comprises magnesium L-threonate.
