The line spans five products: Flex Core Joint Support and Cardio Core Heart Health, plus a blood sugar product, one for vision health, and a product for mental performance and memory. Flex Core Joint Support and Cardio Core Heart Health are currently sold online with a national roll out to leading drug store chains slated to begin in early 2012. The remaining three products in the line will debut later in 2012. Current pricing is $29.99 for 60 Cardio Core soft gels and $39.95 for 90 Flex Core soft gels.
“Throughout my career as a professional athlete and now as a recreational athlete, parent and broadcaster with a busy schedule, staying healthy has been extremely important to me,” Mr. Marino said via press release. “I wanted to develop a line of products that are both preventative and impactful through the many decades of an active person’s life and will make a difference in their health and well-being.”
Mr. Marino’s own experience with pain management has made him a strong advocate for preventative health and education. In fact, the products he chose for the line were selected for personal reasons. During the course of his career in the NFL, his body and joints bore the brunt of repeated tissue damage and physical stress.
