In the global community of dietary supplement markets, China is no stranger to the spotlight. For decades, China has been the leader in supplying ingredients to the world’s dietary supplement industry. With China’s economic development and expanding consumer base, China is now enjoying increasing attention as a market for finished products. It is estimated that China’s dietary supplement market will over take the United States in the coming years. Obviously many U.S. companies want to take advantage of this potential opportunity and export their dietary supplements to China. However, China presents many hurdles and intricacies that are causing many companies to hit the pause button on market entry plans.
In order to get a clearer picture of the industry and how best to approach the market, The U.S. Department Commerce has organized a webinar entitled “Selling Dietary Supplements to China”. The webinar will take place on June 12th 7:00 – 8:15pm EST and cover regulatory issues, product registrations, market size, competition and a Q & A session.
The webinar will be moderated by the U.S. Department of Commerce and speakers include Jeff Crowther executive director of the U.S.-China Health Products Association, Monica Feldman global head of consumer health research and a TBA commercial officer from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.
