Health E-Insights: How has your company changed to keep pace?
Ms. Vermilye: Actually, it seems that the products the company offers were always ahead of their time. After nine years in business, health practitioners and the public desire what we have. I believe that along with our current products and projects, we are still ahead of the game. Since 1992, the company has researched and found the best suppliers of essential oils, which are either certified organic, are grown with an ecologically sensible method or are wild.
Health E-Insights: Why should someone buy your products?
Ms. Vermilye: Because we are trusted and honest with everyone. Bio Excel offers a healthier and more effective choice than many commonly used or prescribed remedies to address both health and happiness. The company provides the highest quality essential plant oils and floral waters that we also call hydrosols, available in the world. We also offer educational courses and keep ourselves in the media.
Health E-Insights: Has there been an influential person in your career?
Ms. Vermilye: Yes. Many people have influenced me and the company, from knowledge to investments. It would be impossible to name one person, but if I had to it would be, the late Alan Young who was a very best friend of mine. Alan died about two years ago and I mourn him often. He was a big loss in my life. Alan invested the first monies I needed to put out my first run of products. He also helped me with the daily tasks of the company, shipping, errands and getting me out the door to many shows and conferences. He was a sweet man and a talented writer, musician, photographer and artist. At the end of the day a giant angel of a man
Health E-Insights: What is the best investment you ever made?
Ms. Vermilye: Besides my teeth, it would have to be the money spent to have scientific research written and published by my medical/scientific experts.
Health E-Insights: What presents did you get for your last birthday?
Ms. Vermilye: My last birthday was filled with loving prayers and wishes from family and friends, the most fabulous celebration with my sweetheart, and the techno help of my new blue ant device to speak with folks while driving—of course, only when needed.
