Aker BioMarine has announced a new distribution agreement with IMCD, a global distribution partner of specialty chemicals and ingredients, enabling IMCD to distribute Superba 2, Superba Boost, and NKO Krill Oil to consumer brands throughout Canada.
Aker BioMarine and IMCD will work together to stay ahead of trends, while finding new ways to meet the changing needs within the Canadian nutraceutical market.
“With the success of distributor partnerships across other regions in our organization, we have large ambitions to grow the Canadian market as part of our new strategy for North America, and IMCD is the ideal partner to help us do just that,” said Simo Echchafai, senior vice president of human health ingredients, North America. “Rooted in science and sustainability, their vision runs parallel with ours, therefore, together we can help bring innovative solutions, product development, and formulations of krill oil to a wider audience in the Canadian market.”
“This agreement reinforces our commitment to the health and well-being of consumers across Canada,” said Tuankiet Nic Ngovandan, business director of IMCD. “By working closely with the Aker BioMarine team, we can respond to market demands with high quality krill oil products.”
