GNC has partnered with Nuritas, an ingredient supplier specializing in AI-based discovery of peptides, in order to launch Beyond Raw Dynamic Whey High-Tech Protein enhanced with PeptiStrong, a plant peptide which has been clinically-evidenced to boost muscle protein synthesis, reduce markers associated with muscle breakdown, and decrease markers of exercise-induced inflammation.
The finished product is intended to provide improved workout and recovery benefits than whey protein alone. PeptiStrong helps to augment the metabolism of protein through various cell-signaling pathways, and users can expect to experience a reduction in fatigue in the days after training after each use, according to the company.
The new protein powder will be available in three flavors (tiramisu, chocolate lava cake, and vanilla ice cream), and is suitable for adding to shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, or water.
