Aiming to guide the companies in developing more advanced health formulations for women, the nonprofit group Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN) is working with Informa on a SupplySide East education session.
The panel, Formulating for Women: What’s Hot and What’s Not , will take place on Tuesday, Apr. 18, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the Meadowlands Exposition Center meeting room in Secaucus, NJ.
Speakers will include:
Informa’s Cassie Smith will moderate, and WIN Board member Karen Howard, CEO & Executive Director, Organic and Natural Health Association, will introduce the session.
"SupplySide and its parent company Informa Markets are proud to partner with WIN to bring education to SupplySide East on the importance of formulating supplement and functional food products for women using female-researched ingredients,” said Sandy Almendarez, Vice President of Content, SupplySide.
“The nutraceutical industry has a tremendous opportunity to create targeted, specific, and relevant products to an interested consumer base, while also creating more gender parity in the health of Americans. It’s win-win for the industry and consumers, and it helps achieve our mission of building a better world.”
SupplySide is part of Informa, which is a Founding Platinum Sponsor of WIN. Nutraceuticals World is a founding media partner of WIN.
WIN and Nutraceuticals World are also supporters of the What’s Up With Supps event taking place during SupplySide East at Nohu Rooftop in Weehawken, NJ on Apr. 18.
