Great Lakes Wellness, a manufacturer of collagen nutraceuticals, announced the launch of Daily Collagen Matcha Latte Peptides. The new formula combines grass-fed collagen peptides with farm-direct Japanese Matcha, to deliver the functional benefits of both wellness ingredients in a powder that can make warm matcha lattes in a few steps.
Matcha green tea adds umami and earthy grassy notes to the collagen peptides in the sugar-free formula. The quick-dissolving powder provides a boost of natural caffeine, and is lightly sweetened with monkfruit. One two-scoop serving contains 18 amino acids, 12 grams of types I and III collagen, and 30-40 mg caffeine per serving.
Matcha, characterized by a bright green hue, has been a part of traditional Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries and more recently has been popularized in wellness products.
“Our new Daily Collagen Matcha Latte Peptides combine matcha with the well-researched benefits of grass-fed collagen to bring a dynamic wellness duo that’s simple and easy to incorporate into an everyday routine,” said Jim Burkett, president at Great Lakes Wellness. “Use it on the go, at home in a morning functional latte, in the office, or if you’re looking to get a jump on resolutions in the new year. For the last century, we’ve been on a mission to provide high-quality collagen options to help everyone embrace their individual wellness journeys, and we’re thrilled to add the power of matcha to our growing portfolio of products.”
The new Matcha Latte comes on the heels of Great Lakes Wellness’ #GiveAgingTheBird initiative, which is an effort to raise awareness on aging and embracing getting older on one’s own terms.
