This year Vitafoods Europe will again combine its in-person conference with an online program tailored to nutraceutical professionals around the world. Attendees will be able to access the online platform a week before the live event (May 2-13) to watch exclusive content and use the data-driven matchmaking tool to conduct virtual meetings. The platform and SMART technology also allows attendees to plan their visit to Geneva and set up in-person meetings in advance of the May 10-12 event.
“With over 22,000 virtual and in-person attendees, Vitafoods 2021 was a huge success, despite the challenges of the ever-changing COVID-19 situation in the buildup to the event’s return. Now, Vitafoods Europe is back for 2022—at its usual May timing—providing opportunities for collaboration in ways that could only have been dreamed of when the exhibition started back in 1997,” said Chris Lee, managing director at Informa Markets. “Not only do we have a truly exciting agenda, but our enhanced SMART event is designed to increase connectivity and enhance the in-person experience. By allowing the industry to connect ahead of the event, for example to set up virtual meetings as well as plan face-to-face meetings in Geneva, we’re enabling everyone to expand their global network and make the most of their time at Vitafoods Europe.”
The online event agenda will explore market trends, regulatory complexities, packaging and labeling challenges and more, including women in nutraceuticals and sustainability. The event will also offer opportunities to network and explore industry trends and innovations both online or in-person.
Highlights of this year’s event include:
Vitafoods Europe 2022 is committed to the safety of its visitors, staff and exhibitors. The exhibition has been planned in line with the latest Informa AllSecure standards and current local Swiss guidance. Further announcements on COVID-19 guidelines will be shared via the Vitafoods Europe website in the coming weeks and months.
“With the current pace of change and innovation, there’s never been a more exciting time to be a part of the nutraceutical community,” said Lee, “and we’re delighted to be right back at the heart of it, facilitating networking, learning and discovery across the globe through our SMART event. Vitafoods Europe 2022 is set to be one of our best—as well as most safe and accessible—events yet, and we look forward to welcoming everybody back, whether they take part in Geneva or from the comfort of their own office.”
