NutriScience and Taiyo have entered a joint partnership through which Taiyo will supply certified organic and conventional ElderMune elderberry to food and beverage companies in North and South America.
Introduced in 2020, ElderMune is a high-potency 65:1, TRU-ID certified elderberry juice concentrate blended with clinically proven prebiotic Sunfiber. By using Sunfiber instead of carriers or additives such as maltodextrin, ElderMune delivers both immune and digestive health benefits. According to the company, the ingredients work synergistically to enhance the absorption of elderberry’s immune-supporting phytonutrients in the digestive tract. Sunfiber also replaces some of the natural elderberry fiber lost during the juicing process. Both the elderberry juice and Sunfiber that comprise ElderMune are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).
Solvent-free ElderMune 65:1 juice powder is also water-soluble. It is created with a low-temperature drying process that helps maintain high levels of key antioxidants—polyphenols and anthocyanins—which are fundamental to elderberry’s activity.
