Just earlier this morning, SupplySide East, postponed its Secaucus, NJ show to June 23-24.
Vitafoods Europe 2020, an annual trade show which brings in 24,000 health and nutrition industry experts to Geneva, Switzerland, will be postponed several months to Sep. 1-3 in light of the ongoing health risks associated with the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.
The show was originally scheduled to take place in mid-May.
“This conclusion is not one that has been reached easily. However, following consultation with our stakeholders, and taking the continually evolving health concerns and travel restrictions into consideration, we are agreed that postponement is the best course of action,” Chris Lee, Informa Markets’ health and nutrition managing director, said. “By acting now, we hope to remove the uncertainty affecting exhibitors and visitors and allow them to make more concrete business decisions.”
The event in September will still take place at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland, and all existing registrations and commitments will remain in place.
